Rita and Janie Invasion Day 7

We filled two and half pews at church! Emily loved having so many cousins with her at church and the kids were all well behaved! I was impressed. After sacrament meeting Emily, Ethan, Cassie and Audrey headed off to nursery while Tyson, Russell and Zerric came to my primary class. It was lots of fun to teach my nephews. I was impressed by their scripture knowledge. The lesson was on how Jesus loves everyone. After class they kept telling each other that, "Jesus loves ____" (filling in their own name) It was really cute. We all rushed down to the ferry and luckily made the ferry. Landon came down and said good-bye to everyone because he wasn't able to come to Victoria with us. We caravaned down to Victoria, teasing my dad when we stopped for a bathroom break because he drives so fast. Ends up his speedometer is off my at least 15 km. :) We arrived at my aunt Ruth's house around 5 pm. Auntie Margie had organized a fantastic dinner. There was fried chicken, potato salad, buns, etc. Uncle Eric made an incredible ceasar salad! It was so nice to get together with all my aunts, uncles and cousins from my mom's side of the family. (We missed my Auntie Kathy, her kids/grandkids and my cousin Lisa because they live far away or had made plans previously.) I hadn't met my cousin Maia's little girl Gwinn. She is beautiful! And my Uncle Eric and Aunt Sue hadn't met Emily or Collin. It was a great night, with great food and company. The kids had a great time running around with Tye, my cousin Stephanie's little boy. It was nice to see Celene and her little pregnant belly. I am so excited for her! Auntie Ruth and Uncle Lynol were nice to open up their home and yard to put us all up for a couple of days.
