Rita and Janie Invasion Day 5

What a beautiful day! The sun came out and everything. We started off the day at Willingdon Beach to join in the fun activities that Family Place put on. There was bubbles at the water park, colouring, a dinosaur dig, a relay race, the park, parachute game, snack and story time. Afterward we headed up the Willingdon Beach trail. It was beautiful. The kids all loved climbing on the various machinery used in logging and the trestle bridge. When we were done we headed to Hernando Beach to play and have some chicken and mojos (potato wedges) for lunch. Home for naps and then off to the ferry to pick up Aunt Nomi. That was exciting for all the kids. They love their Aunt Naomi. We went to Mowat Bay for boat rides in Papa's boat, swimming and more park time. Rita and I picked up the pizza and brought it to the beach. The kids all slept well that night! My mom and dad sent us five siblings out for ice cream. It has been a long time since we have all hung out together. It was so nice to be all together, just us. Brought back lots of memories, I recommend it to everyone! Spend some time with just your siblings. Even if it is only for an hour. We hope to make it an annual thing. Enjoy the slideshow!
