Landon has received grades for two classes:
Music Appreciation - 97%
Anthropology - 100%
Yep, you read that right, 100%!!!!!!!
Landon would try to lead you to believe the classes were "easy", "just generals", and that he was "lucky". But I am here to tell you he is just really intelligent and he just needs to accept that! He put in a lot of hard work and we are so proud of him.
Love you Landon!
*** I need to add he got an A in his American Government class as well! I married a really smart man! ***

Home Owners at last!
As of Monday morning Landon and I became Home Owners!
We are so excited. It has been a long process but well worth it. We love our little home and I am already dreaming of paint colors for the bathroom and downstairs. :) You know me. I'm always on the lookout for a new home improvement project! I will post pictures soon, I promise. Well, I'll post pictures of the few rooms which are finished to the point that I want to share them. :) So if you want to come visit, PLEASE DO! We love visitors especially now that we have a nice size guest room.

The Littlest Angel

When I think of Christmas I think of sitting and listening to my mom read us The Littest Angel by Charles Tazewell. I love it! They have remade the book but I dreamed of owning the original with the original pictures. I looked on ebay. It was going for at least $35. I didn't want it that bad. Then I found a 1996 remake of the 1982 version. I bet on it and WON it! Total cost 99 cents for the book and $3.00 shipping and handling. It arrived less than a week later and it is in MINT condition. Actually I may have been the first to read it as the binding creaked as I opened it. Emily sat next to me silent and enthralled which is a big thing for my daughter. We've read it four times in one week. Another record for my daughter with books that don't involve Dora or Curious George. I tear up at the end and everything. Landon just shakes his head. I am so excited to have this book to create more memories for my kids.

Video Message from Santa
My friend Amber told me about a really great site that creates personalized Santa videos for kids. I went and made a video for each of my kids. It is awesome! And Free! We are doing Santa letters sometime this week. Then they are going to get a video from Santa when he "receives" the letters. I love this time of year!
