Thunder and Lightening
Tonight the rain started to pour and lightening and thunder rolled in. Landon stood at our front door and watched it all. He loves summer storms. Collin and Emily came to see what was going on. The lightening lit the sky so bright! Every time it would go, Collin would start to say, "Here comes the "Funder" (and then point up the street)." They were mesmorized. It reminded me of the storms we would see in Cardston during my childhood. I remember one night my parents bundled us up and we drove to the top of the hill to watch it come through the valley. It was awesome. Another time we gathered in the front room and it struck a transformer on the hill behind our house. You could hear the electricity in the air. My mom kept telling us to stay in the middle of the room and not touch anything. Oh the fun. I am excited to be making new memories of thunder and lightening with my kids. I better drag my kids back in the house before they get too cold!

Love crazy storms- they make me feel like it's the end of the world and we've survived :)
Sounds like you have a great summer planned. If you go to IF don't forget to walk the greenbelt and feed bread to the ducks and go to the Carr Museum
It was a fun storm. Alas my kids were already sleeping and missed it
