Emily's Dance Recital

Emily has been so excited to get up on stage and dance in front of everyone. It has been really cute watching her get more and more excited about it. Mel and Vauna were awesome and stopped by on their way home from the cabin to attend the recital. Emily was excited to have them here. Before the recital we stopped by Rita's house and she took a couple of pictures of the girls so that she could make posters. They looked so alike in their matching dance outfits. The auditorium was packed when we got there. (They announced just over 200 kids would be performing.) We got seats at the back. Emily wanted to sit in the middle of the aisle so that she could watch all the dancers. Her class was #16 on the program. It was really cute to watch all the other groups. Collin was excited to watch everyone but the problem with toilet training and switching to Pullups is that Collin peed out. (Sorry Vauna!) Made for an exciting distraction before Emily went on stage. I ran to the front to take a video on my cell phone but I haven't figured how to get it off yet. Emily did AWESOME! So did Cassie. I was so proud of both of them. In a mixup they ended up in a cheerleading/tumbling class. They were really cute. Here are the pictures Rita took. Cassie is in the front row and Emily is in the back. Emily's bow came out after her last summersault during the tumbling. She just casually stuffed it down the front of her shorts. It was so funny and so cute! She had loved teaching Collin all of her cheers and showing him some tumbling. Emily's teacher was Trinelle who is in the first picture with her and Cassie.
