There are people that come into your life that leave it so much better. Those who you cannot believe your good luck and good fortune to have in your life. Margaret Corbett was one of those people for me and my little family. She was there for me as a teenager, always loving me for all of my faults. She was there when I was newly married. Always offering me comfort, advice and love to me and Landon. She came to the hospital to hold Emily (not as soon as her wonderful husband who arrived hours after but within a day). We sat with her as she recevied a blessing at the beginning of this four year battle with cancer. She was always full of smiles and jokes even when she was in pain. She held Collin in the hospital. She had candy and stickers for my kids when they were not behaving for me in church. She was always so proper but she joined in on our Guitar Hero night. It is my one of my favourite memories. She passed away today after this four year battle and she will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. Her testimony blessed all those around her. She endured to the end faithfully and will always be someone I hope to emulate. We love you Peggy and know that you now are reunited with your parents, family and grandson. We look forward to the day when we will be with you again.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember Peggy from YW Camp - a lovely lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and her family.
So sorry to hear. Sister Corbett always helped me as a missionary feel like there was a second home for me in P.R. Thanks for sharing.
great tribute to her. She has been in my thoughts a lot these last few days.
So true, a fitting tribute.
