While we had a great time visiting with family over this Christmas break, I must say I am glad to be home in my own bed. All three of us ended up sick for the last week of our holiday and we still haven't been able to shake it. At times I wondered who had possessed my daughter because she was so irritable while sick. But overall her loving personality shone through. Our trip home was the complete opposite of our trip down. The weather was beautiful and we made great time. Again my daughter was a saint. Which was good since having a sinus infection and having to go over mountain passes did not put me in a patient mood! :) The downside of being pregnant is that there is nothing you can really take except regular Tylenol. We survived and the Lord truly blessed us. We almost ran out of gas on a lonely part of the highway in Oregon but the Lord helped us coast into a gas station and fill up our 10 gallon tank with just over 10 gallons of gas. Our prayers were definately answered. We did a pit stop in Portland. Thanks to Becca and David for letting us crash at your house for the night. It was nice to have a quick visit with you and hope to see you again soon. We were able to get home last night by 8 pm. Thanks to Nic and Rita for lending us your portable DVD player. It helped Emily to get over being in her car seat for so long. Here is a link to some pictures I have posted on my facebook account:

Glad you guys made it ok and I am so sorry that what Cassie had got to you guys. Hate to admit but no one in my family got sick except Cassie. Love you guys.
Sounds like an adventure! Glad you made it home safe. Emily is so cute and she sounds like such a sweet little girl. Maybe someday we will be able to meet her.
